What does a place-based approach to Human Learning Systems look like?

The need for reform in public services has never been stronger or more urgent. Since taking office the Government has committed to three core reform principles and launched several major programmes to bring them into practice: integrating services around people’s lives, prioritising prevention over crisis response, and devolving power to local areas in partnership with communities and civil society.

Power and Emotion in Human Learning Systems

How we use our power directly impacts what can happen or what does happen. When we're working in teams, organisations and local systems trying to achieve change, this can have a major impact. A power we hold is the power to shape the agenda to meet either our sole needs, the needs of just our organisation, or the needs of the wider collaboration or system that we might be operating within. In being able to set the agenda, we then limit or expand the story of what happens depending on what agenda has been set.

Explode on Impact
